Accommodation Terms and Conditions
Article 1 (Scope of Application)
1. Accommodation contracts and related agreements concluded between this hotel and guests shall be governed by these Terms and Conditions. Matters not stipulated herein shall be governed by applicable laws and regulations or generally established customs.
2. In the event that the hotel agrees to special provisions within the scope not contrary to laws and customs, such special provisions shall prevail notwithstanding the preceding paragraph.
Article 2 (Application for Accommodation Contract)
1. A person wishing to apply for an accommodation contract shall provide the hotel with the following information:
1. Name of guest
2. Date of stay and expected arrival time
3. Accommodation charges
4. Any other matters deemed necessary by the hotel
2. If a guest requests to extend their stay beyond the accommodation date specified in item 2 of the preceding paragraph during their stay, the hotel shall treat such request as a new application for an accommodation contract at the time the request is made.
Article 3 (Conclusion of Accommodation Contract, etc.)
1. An accommodation contract shall be deemed concluded when the hotel accepts the application referred to in the preceding article. However, this shall not apply if the hotel proves that it did not accept the application.
2. Upon conclusion of the accommodation contract pursuant to the preceding paragraph, the guest shall pay a deposit determined by the hotel, up to the amount of the basic accommodation fee for the stay period, by the date designated by the hotel.
3. The deposit shall first be applied to the accommodation charges finally payable by the guest. If circumstances requiring the application of Article 6 and Article 18 arise, it shall be applied to penalty charges and compensation for damages in that order. Any remaining balance shall be refunded at the time of payment under Article 12.
4. If the deposit specified in paragraph 2 is not paid by the designated date, the accommodation contract shall lose its validity, provided that the hotel has notified the guest of such payment deadline in advance.
5. Entry by persons other than registered guests is strictly prohibited. If friends or others enter the room, it shall be regarded as accommodation, and the prescribed accommodation fee will be charged.
Article 4 (Special Agreement Not Requiring Deposit)
1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 3, paragraph 2, the hotel may agree to a special provision whereby payment of the deposit is not required after the conclusion of the contract.
2. If the hotel does not request payment of the deposit or specify a payment deadline when accepting an application for an accommodation contract, it shall be deemed that the hotel has agreed to the special provision set forth in the preceding paragraph.
Article 5 (Refusal to Conclude Accommodation Contract)
1. The hotel may refuse to conclude an accommodation contract in the following cases:
1. When the application does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
2. When no rooms are available due to full occupancy.
3. When the person seeking accommodation is deemed likely to engage in conduct contrary to laws, public order, or good morals.
4. When the person is clearly recognized as having an infectious disease.
5. When unreasonable demands exceeding a reasonable scope are made in relation to accommodation.
6. When accommodation is impossible due to natural disasters, facility failure, or other unavoidable reasons.
7. When the person is intoxicated or otherwise likely to cause inconvenience to other guests.
8. When the person is associated with groups or activities that may interfere with safe and orderly hotel operations.
9. When the person is affiliated with an organization that may adversely affect hotel management or operations.
10. When the person makes improper demands or engages in behavior that significantly disrupts hotel services or staff operations.
Article 6 (Guest’s Right to Cancel Contract)
1. Guests may cancel the accommodation contract by notifying the hotel.
2. If a guest cancels all or part of the accommodation contract due to reasons attributable to the guest, the hotel shall charge a cancellation fee in accordance with Appendix 2, except where the guest cancels before paying the deposit requested under Article 3, paragraph 2.
3. If a guest does not arrive by 10:00 p.m. on the day of stay (or two hours after the stated arrival time), the hotel may deem the contract canceled by the guest.
4. No special measures for accommodation fee changes or refunds due to COVID-19 are currently provided.
Article 7 (Hotel’s Right to Cancel Contract)
1. The hotel may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases:
1. When the guest is deemed likely to engage in conduct contrary to laws, public order, or good morals, or has engaged in such conduct.
2. When the guest is clearly recognized as having an infectious disease.
3. When unreasonable demands exceeding a reasonable scope are made in relation to accommodation.
4. When accommodation cannot be provided due to unavoidable circumstances such as natural disasters or facility issues.
5. When the guest is intoxicated or otherwise likely to cause inconvenience to other guests.
6. When the guest fails to comply with the hotel’s usage rules, including actions necessary for fire prevention and safety management.
7. When the guest is associated with individuals, groups, or activities that may interfere with the safe and orderly operation of the hotel.
8. When the guest is affiliated with an organization that may adversely affect hotel management or operations.
9. When the guest engages in conduct or makes demands that significantly disrupt hotel services or staff operations.
2. When the hotel cancels the accommodation contract pursuant to the preceding paragraph, the hotel shall not charge for accommodation services not yet provided.
Article 8 (Accommodation Registration)
1. Guests shall register the following information at the time of reservation:
1. Name, age, gender, address, and occupation.
2. For foreign nationals: nationality, passport number, place of entry, and date of entry.
3. Departure date and expected departure time.
4. Any other matters deemed necessary by the hotel.
2. If payment is made by traveler’s checks, accommodation vouchers, credit cards, or other methods substitutable for currency, such items must be presented at the time of registration.
Article 9 (Use of Guest Rooms)
1. Guest rooms may be used from 3:00 p.m. on the check-in date until 10:00 a.m. on the check-out date.
2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the hotel may permit use of guest rooms outside the above hours. In such cases, the following additional charges shall apply:
1. JPY 5,000 per room per hour (excluding tax). Any fraction of an hour shall be rounded up to one hour.
Article 10 (Compliance with Usage Rules)
1. Guests shall comply with the usage rules established by the hotel and provided within the hotel and guest rooms.
Article 11 (Business Hours)
1. The business hours of the hotel’s main facilities shall be announced through on-site notices, information provided in guest rooms, or service guides.
2. The hours stated in the preceding paragraph may be temporarily changed when necessary due to unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, notice shall be given by appropriate means.
Article 12 (Payment of Charges)
1. The breakdown and calculation method of accommodation charges payable by guests shall be as set forth in Appendix 1.
2. All accommodation charges shall be paid in advance by credit card.
3. Even if a guest chooses not to stay after the hotel has made the guest room available for use, the accommodation charges shall still apply.
Article 13 (Hotel’s Liability)
1. The hotel shall compensate guests for any damage caused in the performance or non-performance of the accommodation contract and related agreements, except where such damage is not attributable to the hotel.
Article 14 (Inability to Provide Contracted Guest Room)
1. If the hotel is unable to provide the guest room specified in the accommodation contract, the hotel shall, with the consent of the guest, endeavor to introduce another accommodation facility under similar conditions. Reservations at such alternative facilities shall be made by the guest.
Article 15 (Handling of Deposited Items)
1. As the hotel does not have a front desk, the hotel does not provide baggage storage services.
Article 16 (Custody of Guest Baggage and Personal Belongings)
1. As the hotel does not have a front desk, baggage storage before check-in or after check-out is not available. If baggage is sent to the hotel in advance, it cannot be received and will be automatically returned by the delivery company.
2. If a guest leaves baggage or personal belongings at the hotel after check-out and the owner can be identified, the hotel shall contact the owner and request instructions. If no instructions are received or the owner cannot be identified, the items shall be stored for seven days from the date of discovery and then disposed of.
3. The hotel’s responsibility for the custody of baggage or personal belongings under the preceding paragraph shall be handled in accordance with the applicable provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
Article 17 (Parking Responsibility)
1. The hotel does not provide parking facilities. Parking spaces within the premises are not designated as hotel parking areas. If a vehicle is parked without authorization, a parking fee of JPY 10,000 per night shall be charged.
Article 18 (Guest Responsibility)
1. If the hotel suffers damage due to the intentional or negligent acts of a guest, the guest shall compensate the hotel for such damage.
